Vodacom analyzes MIMO with WinProp

October 2009 - Vodacom, a leading African communications group providing mobile communications and related services to 39.6 million customers (as at 31 March 2009), analyzes the effects of MIMO in the cellular networks with WinProp and its propagation engines for rural, urban, indoor, and CNP (hybrid urban/indoor) scenarios. Especially the ray-optical propagation models of WinProp allow a detailed analysis of the mobile radio channel and help to understand the effects of the MIMO technology.

After the success in 2008, AWE Communications has been selling Winprop in 2009 again worldwide in Africa, America (North & South), Asia, and Europe. Even the financial crisis was not able to stop the success of WinProp all over the globe.
